It is always an experience to walk from Gallenbach to the Yburg via the Nägelsförst estate. From the tower, 92 steps, you have the best view of the Vosges .......

One would expect a beautiful view. And that's the way it is. The small but fine restaurant is a surprise, however. Very committed staff and a fine menu make an evening stay a pleasure. Reserving is a good plan.

The castle is a great destination and a must-see to visit. The small terrace in the back has a wonderful view as far as France. The food is delicious and the staff is always friendly and helpful

I just rate the area, not the restaurant. Everything perfect. Great view and you can theoretically drive to the castle entrance by car.

Attention very narrow road but a magnificent view awaits you at the top you will also find a restaurant there to have a drink or to eat.

Great destination with a rich menu, great cuisine and nice service. The view is outstanding. We had the Y Citizen and the Fried Salmon Summer Salad. Both very tasty.

Arrived, registered on the board with corona measures and then waited because it said "our service staff will accompany you to your place". After 15 minutes, when several waitresses looked at us and min. five other groups walked straight to a free spot without registering, we then left again. No waitress found it necessary to assign us a seat and no one was interested in registration under the CoronaVO.

Unfortunately, what was on the menu wasn't quite to my taste. But the food I ordered was very good. Of course, the view with the sunset is unlikely, especially if you can get a seat on the balcony.

The restaurant is closed on Monday and Tuesday. All good. But you can't even look at the ruins. You stand in front of locked gates. A note that everything is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays would be helpful

Very friendly staff, and very flexible with the reservation. We reserved a table inside and one outside because the weather was a bit unsafe. Ultimately it was raining, so everything was done correctly :-) The food is delicious and the prices are fair for the top location. The view is gigantic and the castle area invites you to linger. Can be recommended without reservation, no matter with which tour group (old, young, with children, without children ...)

The food is delicious and plentiful. The selection of the scope perfect and the view and the ambience just great! The prices are also fully in line. A star deduction, because the garbage cans in the courtyard next to the dining tables and the old Euro pallets at the castle ruins do not do the nice flair well at all. There you should find other places for that the visitor does not see immediately.

Best meal on our holiday. Surf and turf burger was exceptional. The view and service were also sublime

Very rustic approach. I went there spontaneously with my wife after the wedding. Great view! The food was excellent, not eaten so long, dessert was also great! Service very friendly. It was definitely not our last trip here.

Very nice place in every season. The view is fantastic. The best reservation is very crowded and tight. Flambéed knight gallows is highly recommended. The staff is super nice!

The two of us went for Yburg castle hike for my birthday. Going through the myriad mystery led black forest was such an unforgettable experience. When we reached the castle the view was so dreamy. Just like in wonderland. I would definitely recommend everyone to atleast go for once.

We got to the place an hour late for a reservation at 7:30pm and even though the they close at 8pm they kept the kitchen open just for us even though they just finished catering a wedding. + The seats we had had great view they were facing the valley town and right at the edge. + Amazing food Definitely deserves the 5/5 stars

The best restaurant I've ever been to!! Good pricing amazing view of the whole black forest and kept the kitchen open for us even though there was a 200 person wedding. Everyone was polite and food came quickly, not only meeting expectations but tasting amazing. Highly recommended.

One of the best places to visit. Nature and medieval at its best. The restaurant view is breathtaking. The service is also exceptional.

Without exaggeration, the most rewarding dining experience of my life. A hikers dream if you start at one of the nearby towns. May take 2-3 hours to hike, so perhaps not for everyone. We hiked from Steinbach. The food was phenomenal. And an absolute steal compared to Canadian meal prices. The view is breathtaking. The decor is fun. They even have a guardian cat named Lionheart! We were lucky enough to be there when they were less busy. Please be patient if it is high tourist season. They do not regularly have high volume, which is part of the charm. This is not an experience to rush anyways!!

It's a beautifull place . You can drive up but it's a really nice walk from local villages through vineyards
